A podcast that blends Caribbean culture and history with writing
Inspired by my father's Guyanese expression for someone who talks alot, Parrotbeetie is a place where I bring listeners to the West Indies and beyond through education about the region and oral storytelling. These short stories, written by me, are inspired by the Big Drum Dance (Saraca), a religious tradition in Carriacou, Grenada, the birthplace of my mother's parents.
